PREAMBLE

The Far Eastern Martial Disciplines are deeply rooted in civilizations that are fundamentally different from Western ones.

At the same time, the resultant product of a GENERAL “BUNKA” CULTURE, specific to these countries, in which it is obvious to link, to integrate on a daily basis, on the substance and on the form, all the aspects of life, both private and public (life of the group), while the West tends to sectorize them, to dissociate them.

Moreover, generating a SPECIFIC CULTURE “BUNKA KARATE-DO and ASIAN MARTIAL ARTS”, in particular by the “DO, DAO, TAO”: the way, the quest for knowledge, acceptance, self-affirmation, a way of personal development, but also a possible search for consciousness and universal harmony.
